The Puffin Swift folding kayak is a longer and narrower version of the Puffin 12, with improved speed and tracking. The Puffin Swift has the same fully-removable deck as the Puffin 12 folding kayak, with a rigid coaming for attaching a spray skirt. The frame has been stiffened by 6 reinforcing rods, which distribute the paddler’s weight along the length of the kayak and prevent excessive rocker. Its waterline length is comparable to many 15- and 16-foot kayaks. For activities like fishing and bird watching, the solid stability of the beamier the Puffin Sport or the Puffin 12 may be a better alternative.

The assembly time is about 15-20 min. It will take about 30-35 min. to put the Puffin Swift folding kayak up for the first time with the Assembly Instructions. It is recommended to assemble the Puffin Swift at home or on backyard before you hit the water.
