The Puffin Saco is the larger version of the popular Puffin Sport. The open hull with optional deck provides lots of open space for fishing gear or a small dog, and the 12 ft length gives the Saco great speed and tracking. Just like the Sport, the Saco is very stable. The optional mounting board can hold up to 3 fishing rods or a combination of items like cup holder and GPS.
The available deck is made of a sturdy polyurethane coated fabric and has an attractive diamond shaped rip-stop pattern. The cockpit is long, so getting in and out of the kayak is easy. An aluminum cockpit coaming supports the optional spray skirt, so you can be completely protected from the elements. A solid support structure is built into the deck, so a deck bag will be well supported.

The Puffin Saco fits into the same duffelbag as the other Puffins, so traveling with it is easy. Storage is not an issue because the Saco can be tucked away in even the smallest closet.
