Based on customers requests Folbot came up with a quicker and trimmer model. While not quite as stable as the Aleut and requiring about the same time to assemble as the Greenland II, the Kodiak will more than satisfy the needs of those paddlers looking for a medium-volume single with a healthy payload that is able to take them on those extended cruises. Ample storage space and sleek, trim lines are the highlight of this totally new boat. The Kodiak shares the same design and engineering features of the proven Greenland II and Aleut and was built for increased speed. It's another example of the quality and exceptional value you have come to expect from Folbot in a light-weight, manoeuvrable and fun package. Constructed of the highest quality and most durable material found, you can expect many years of service from your Kodiak. The same heavy duty YKK deck zippers used on the Greenland II are incorporated in the Kodiak in a 1/2-zipper design to ease assembly and make packing and unpacking gear simple and easy. As with other boats, standard equipment includes paddle, flotation bladders, repair material and carrying bags. A full range of accessories is available to complement your paddling needs. The Kodiak will appeal to the intermediate to advanced paddler who is looking for a medium-volume, fast and agile boat that tracks like an arrow.

ASSEMBLY

The assembly time is about 20-25 min.  It will take about 35-40 min. to put the Kodiak folding kayak up for the first time with the Assembly Instructions.  It is recommended to assemble the Kodiak at home or on backyard before you hit the water.
