KAIWAH

Folbot newest boat, the Kiawah, is the perfect kayak for paddlers between 100 and 180 lbs. Light and easy to assemble, the Kiawah tracks very well, has good initial and secondary stability and achieves hull speed with a minimum of effort. Construction is similar to the Cooper and Folbot proven tensioning system allows the frame to be completely assembled outside of the skin making setup a breeze. The boat skin is made up of a hypalon hull and a woven polyester/urethane deck. All frame and skin components are designed for use in fresh and salt water, and both bow and stern decks have been zippered for easy gear access. The Kiawah is shipped in a soft backpack-style bag with shoulder harness, sternum strap and waist belt and includes one standard 3-piece Folbot paddle. Optional accessories include a neo/nylon or nylon sprayskirt, Werner 4-piece Camano paddle and foot rudder.

ASSEMBLY

The assembly time is about 15-20 min.  It will take about 30-35 min. to put the Kaiwah folding kayak up for the first time with the Assembly Instructions.  It is recommended to assemble the Kaiwah at home or on backyard before you hit the water.
