The PakCanoe 170 folding canoe is Pakboats largest-capacity canoe (910 lbs). Its large central cargo area is 20" longer between the thwarts than that of the PakCanoe 160. The PakCanoe 170 has proven itself in numerous difficult expeditions in Canada's north and around the world. It is intended for carrying heavy loads and tends to be susceptible to wind if paddled without cargo. Like all PakCanoes, its rocker can be changed by varying the load position, allowing maneuverability or tracking to be optimized as desired.

Various accessories as knee pads, spray deck, thigh straps, keel strips, collapsible paddles,  adjustable and sliding canoe seats, self-inflating seat pad, passenger seat, conversion kit, portage yoke, motor mount, rowing kit can be added to your canoe.
