A perfect single-seater for day trips as well as expeditions, the Aleut folding kayak performs like a 15-footer but is quite manageable in every way. Its high capacity-to-weight ratio, extreme stability, excellent tracking and fast simple set-up time (10-15 minutes) make the Aleut a true friend and traveling companion. It performs well in the ocean as well as on flat water rivers and lakes. Constructed of the highest quality and most durable materials found, you can expect many years of service from the Aleut. Deck zippers are not used in this boat because of the short decks, but construction is otherwise the same as the Greenland II. All accessories are suitable for the Aleut, depending on your intended usage.  All boats are shipped with a paddle, safety bladders, and carrying bags.

ASSEMBLY

The assembly time is about 10-15 min.  It will take about 30-35 min. to put the Aleut folding kayak up for the first time with the Assembly Instructions.  It is recommended to assemble the Aleut at home or on backyard before you hit the water.

The Aleut can be shipped in either one or two carrying bags; some prefer the convenience of a single bag, others like the weight evenly divided.
